  • Sushi is my absolute favorite food in the world. If I could only have salmon, mackerel, octopus, and tuna sashimi for the rest of my life, I would die of raw happiness. So of course I had to order the small plate combo, which is all the best cuts of fish that day served nigiri style with two small samplings of delish tuna and octopus maki. I was all about the selection offered, I mean, octopus! whitefish! salmon! Perfect portions, for me at least, and along with a cup of miso, I was a happy girl. The ambiance of the space is contemporary and upscale, without being pretentious and annoying. The waitstaff was helpful, knowledgeable (thank you for telling me what is on my plate!), and attentive, without being pushy and in your face. Basically, the best. I'm pumped to try Sushi Muramoto in Hilldale, the little sister of Restaurant M!
