Graduate Madison is a joke. It's simply not worth the 200+ dollars a night. They are clearly trying to market themselves as a high-end hotel. But here are the facts:
1. The rooms are tiny.
2. Our view was gross. There were construction workers outside of our room and they could have easily peaked into our room.
3. The garage is the sketchiest thing of my life. As we were leaving, there were huge, long stains by the garage door. (Please see attached pictures). The garage ceiling looks like it's about to fall on you.
4. No room service, no food service. "The cafe" is a rip-off. They tried to charge me 7 dollars for a fruit cup full of week old cantaloupe chunks.
5. They placed a 60 dollar extra charge on my card - lord knows why. I had a different charge amount on my receipt (The one they gave me) vs. on my bank statement.
6. Yes, the decor has potential but there were NO CLOSETS in the room. Nowhere to hang clothes, for 200 dollars a night. This is NOT NEW YORK CITY, PEOPLE.
7. There was a group of homeless hipsters living outside of the hotel and playing on their guitars.
8. Also the free wifi didn't work in our room.
9. You can hear EVERYTHING the guests in your neighboring rooms are saying.
DO NOT book a room here. Just don't do it.
Not worth it.
