Phoenix Municipal Stadium is the spring training home of the Oakland A's. Sure, it's an older, low frills stadium without the high definition scoreboard and booming sound system but it's a charming ballpark.
I attended two games here this past spring training. We had upper box seats ($18) behind home plate which is a great place to sit if you're looking for seats in the shade. The seats were comfortable and well spaced and the view was unobstructed.
I appreciated that the stadium was clean and very well maintained and that the people we encountered were all friendly.
Food options seemed rather limited, basic baseball staples for the most part, but what they did have was good. There were bratwursts and foot long hot dogs for $6.00 apiece and they were grilled right in front of you.
Parking was $5.00 and there were plenty of parking spots available in the convenient lot adjacent to the stadium.
