Oh Gaucho grande, how I love thee!!! The new space is incredibly beautiful. Everything from the exposed brick, the space with wooden tables and chairs by open, wonderful windows and new chalkboard menu is incredible. It was day one of new Gaucho and the lines continually wound out the door. Still everything seemed to flow nicely. This was a happy, appreciative crowd! We worried we'd be unable to find a spot to sit, but everything was perfectly timed so that we found a comfy, sunny spot in plenty of time. Don't be scared off by the lines--it's more than worth your small investment of time! The new expanded menu is great. The new veggie empanadas were just amazing! We had the veggie and fish con pane and our favorite papas. The sauces were, as always, super tasty and the old butcher block serving station was a welcoming site to see after the hiatus. Everything was Scrumptious! We cannot wait to try the paella and see the soon-to-be opened expanded dining room.
