| - I'm not sure if this is because they changed their location, but their service department needs work. I just moved to vegas and this is the only Subaru dealership around. I can only compare this experience to my prior dealership in SF, who also has an award for stellar care service award.
First off, it is definitely not okay to be telling 20 something people that an 8am appointment is available two weeks prior only to show up and have 15-20 cars ahead of you and then have your rep tell me "oh it's first come first serve basis". Then what is the point of an appointment? It doesn't matter if your computer system is messed up, if you know it is messed up then why didn't you do something before having everyone show up at one time?
Second, it's a little bit rude for a service desk rep to sit at the desk right by the door and not acknowledge anyone. I was there during rush hour on a Saturday morning and the service rep, I think his name started with a H, was initially very friendly telling people sorry for the wait. When the crowd has died and it's time to pick up my car, I stand in the doorway and he's just chatting to his fellow coworkers and typing away. I didn't even get a "how can I help you today". So instead I walked myself over to the express service desk all the way at the end and asked where I pick up my car. Some service that was...
Anyways, some positives of the place is that they have a waiting area for you to wait with a nice bar of coffee, soda, water, snacks. I think they're working on a dog area, but didn't quite see a children waiting area. I'm not sure if they expect you to wait there while your car is being serviced. It seemed most people did. For a busy Saturday morning a simple oil change was approx 2 hours and a little more. I could not wait around as I have two little ones at home waiting. So it is nice that they call you to tell you the car is done, but then when you go pick up say "oh we've been waiting for you, your cars been done for a while" kind of makes the courtesy call useless - like they forgot they called you and assumed you waited in the lounge. Pretty sure maybe the words came out wrong for that one...
So overall, this place is ok. Love the newness of everything, but service definitely was not as friendly as I thought it would be. Hopefully they fix their appointment system and hopefully guide people where they need to go.
