| - If I could give this company zero stars, I would. This company's customer service and communication is poor, at best. My home warranty company set up a claim with them originally and I unfortunately was not able to change service providers after they ordered the parts per contractual obligations. Had I been in control, I would have used a different company after our very first phone interaction. The warranty company said they would call me to set up a visit, but that never happened. I reached out to them a day later and that's when we scheduled their first visit. My first visit with them was supposed to be somewhere between 2-6pm. At 5:50pm I still had not heard that they were on their way so I called the office and spoke to a girl in the office. She told me the tech was not even on his way yet and made no attempt to apologize for not communicating their lateness with me. When the tech finally did show up at 6:45pm he was there for 5 minutes, didn't even open up the system to diagnose the problem, and basically said that it was "probably" some part he had to order. His diagnosis was solely based on my description of what was happening with the unit. I personally feel that the guy just wanted to go home for the day and really didn't want to take the time to open up the unit. So, he left after 5 minutes and said that his company would call to schedule another appointment to come out. No surprise, but I never heard from them. Saturday rolled around and my husband called the warranty company again because this time our A/C unit completely stopped working. The warranty company attempted to contact them, but there was no response. I also left a personal voice message with Effertz Air both on Saturday and Sunday. I received no calls back. I figured that they were not open on the weekends, even though hat's odd for an A/C company to not be open at least on Saturdays. On Monday morning I called again and the same lady picked up the phone. When I told her that both myself and the warranty company called on Saturday she said, "There's no way! I was answering phone calls all day on Saturday." Again, no apology. This place has TERRIBLE customer service. The unfortunate part is I am still dealing with them and now have to wait until Thursday (it's now Monday) to hopefully get service done on my A/C. Effertz Air should change their name to "No Effertz Air."
