| - As I started to plot out where to eat for all of my meals while I was going to be in town, picking the last spot to go to before my flight home was by far the easiest. I mean, how could I not hit up Bruxie?! Considering how much I LOVED their Irvine location, this practically guaranteed a delicious ending to my trip. Which kind of explains why I did it again last month! Well, that and the fact that they're just that good!
Located on the outside of New York New York, and right next to Shake Shack (also love!), it's great how this part of The Strip finally has some better food options (we wouldn't even bother before). Thankfully, everything about this Bruxie was just as amazing as the one in Irvine. In fact, if anything, the menu actually looked slightly better. The range of options was the same (fried chicken, waffle sandwiches, salads, etc.), but there seemed to be more variety now!
-- HOLY CHICKEN - Maple Glazed Fried Chicken, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Sriracha Sauce, Sunny-side Up Egg...$11.95

Aside from how the waffle fell apart after just a few bites (it needed to be crispier), I loved everything about this! The egg, cheese, and bacon were perfect complements and I liked the glaze's sweetness. The star was the chicken though - crispy, juicy, and super flavorful!
-- KICKIN' CHICKEN - Spicy & Smokey, Tangy Sauce, Shredded Romaine, Pickles...$11.95

Even though it wasn't as spicy (or kickin', if you will) as I thought'd be, I thought this was great! The chicken was moist, nicely battered, and still very tasty. What's more, the tangy sauce was awesome and the waffle was much better this time around!
For all of their waffle sandwiches, you can make it a combo by adding a side of waffle fries and a drink (with free refills) for $3.95 more. Sure, the sandwiches are filling enough on their own, but this is well worth the money! The waffle fries are insanely good (perfectly crispy, lightly salted) and I LOVE their Strawberry Lemonade (a little sweet, but nothing a little more water won't fix).
Despite having tried something different every time I've been to Bruxie (here and Irvine), I'm still disappointed in myself for not having tried their regular fried chicken yet! Fried chicken & waffles dishes have failed me before (a la Roscoe's), but I can't imagine I'd have to worry about that here. I guess I have even more reason to come back! Alhough, considering how much I love these guys, I never really needed another one.
