TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!! We rented a car from Avis Toronto Airport, but it broke down today which is our return day. Roadside assistance towed the car to a service center and told us to call Avis at 161 Bay Street to arrange for a replacement or termination of our contract. Nobody in this office wants to help us. They refuse to send a replacement and wants us to call roadside assistance to make arrangements. Everyone is giving me the run around. I just want to be out of here.
Update: roadside assistance wants us to walk into this office and get a replacement. Walk 2miles to their office, all 5of us with our 5pc of luggage at 50lbs each? They're kidding, right? . At this point, I don't want a replacement. I just want them to get the broken car and sent us on our way to the airport with a cab.
