Are you looking for THAT hotel bar where it's super chill and relaxing when you're all Vegas-ed out? (is there such a thing?) Maybe you're in the mood for light food or you just wanna hang out at the porch swing (yes, they have that too) while nursing your cocktail? If you're around city center, make Bar Vdara your stop.
The light fare menu ranges from salads to sammies and quesadillas. I love how even in the middle of the desert I can get crisp romaine lettuce with moist grilled chicken breast and freshly baked bread. (The dressing is served on the side so you can control how much you put in)
Let's talk about the bread. Their bread basket comes with a french baguette, a rustic bread with fennel/rosemary seeds and olive bread. These are baked fresh by the Bellagio everyday and sent over to Vdara. The olive bread made me exclaim "oh. my. carb!" Break it apart with your hands and let the crumbs fall on your lap. As you look at the generous pieces of chopped olives baked in the crevices -- take a light pat of butter and spread the eff away! It was so yummy and our barkeep must've noticed me highly enjoying the bread that she packed two extra pieces for me to take back to my hotel room!
Thank you Brandie for making my day (I know, I'm so easy to please!) Bar Vdara is such a chillaxin spot, I would love to come back again next time so I can pass the day away on their porch swing.
