  • I can't find the words to describe how amazing our dinner was at this restaurant. I want to give it 10 stars. We came here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and we each had the 6 course tasting menu. Everything was prepared with incredible attention to detail and tasted wonderful. It started with a an apĂ©ritif which was really a little espresso cup of soup and some bread. This didn't count as one of the courses, but it was delicious. The bread came with an amazing butter that had herbs and lemon in it. Then our tasting courses started. We had a board with tons of small bites and spreads. Following this we had kabocha squash soup that came with this amazing relish and goat cheese in the bowl. After this I got a beet dish and my boyfriend got beef carpaccio. Both were outstanding. Then, we both got a pork belly stuffed pasta dish that came in a cream sauce that we wanted to drink out of the bowl! Our server gave us a small glass of dry gewurztraminer with this and it was the perfect pairing for the soup. For our entrees I had the best steak of my life and my boyfriend had this stuffed guinea hen. Our desserts were a bread pudding and vanilla panna cotta. We also ordered an espresso and coffee to finish off the night. The tasting experience took about three hours but we never felt like we were waiting. Our server was so kind and knowledgable about the food. I also loved that all the food was so local down to the wine menu. The ambiance is beautifully quaint and romantic and is the perfect place for a luxurious date. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
