rev:text	Food is a 5 star Service is a 1 star Went out for a couple drinks and seemed like this was the spot for the night since this is usually our go to spot. Good thing I was with great company otherwise I would have moved on to the next spot. Walked in & the host was pleasant, found a spot at the bar and that's where it all went bad. The only female bartender is normally Somewhat friendly, but not tonight. She must have let someone get to her because she made No eye contact, short with words, and never cracked a smile at us (smiled & friendly with some of the men tho). We realized it was busy and she may have been covering other tables, but that's not my problem. We came in polite, smiled, said our please and thank you's....I asked for wine - can't mess that up, simple & quick for her, right? I asked for their house Chardonnay which I've never had & thought it'd be pretty easy and fast. I took a few sips, didn't like it and asked for something else. We were there to drink and I'm not paying $10 for 3 OUNCES of wine w/a side of attitude ("Oh, so, you've never had Chardonnay before..." ... "uh, YES I have, I just don't like THIS Chardonnay") So I ordered beer. Thankfully another bartender from the opposite side of the bar came to help her take our drinks and food order. He was friendly and apologetic. We decided to close the tab and move to a table to lighten the mood back up. The server was super nice! He seemed new, and may have forgotten to check on our drinks BUT his happy attitude made up for the $hitty attitude & service from the bar. We are done with this place. Inconsistent service outweighs the food. Thankfully downtown Phoenix has options! Take Care Hanny's! Let me know when you clean house.
