After mucking Bob about several times with the number of people coming, we finally got it sorted and he picked the three of us up from the hotel at 7am. He took us out to the Late Night Trailhead at the Red Rock Canyon, got us set up with our bikes, and off we went. The trails were fairly easy with a few technical bits, just about right for our group. We saw some fantastic countryside and Bob, being a geologist, could fill us in on some of the background of the rock formations etc. We criss-crossed several different trails and ended up riding a total of 18km (11.2m), which, I think, was just enough for all of us.
We had a terrific time with Bob and we all enjoyed it very much, we all said afterward that we would do it again when we next come to Vegas. Awesome!!
