  • This is the 3rd time I have dined at Island sushi and after my 2nd time I was impressed and excited to bring my mom with me to dinner to enjoy some sushi. Today I brought my mother and we each got a combination dinner. We were quickly forgotten about as soon as other tables ordered all you can eat, we had to remind our server that we hadn't gotten our soup when our dinner was brought out. My mom ordered the garlic chicken (DO NOT ORDER IT!) as her choice in the combination, and it was greasy and unappetizing, she didn't even eat it. The salad was dry with no dressing like it had each time I had been before. And the desert portioning tonight was laughable. I won't even get into the service...... Very disappointed. Wondering if there was a new cook or the boss was just out for the evening.
