| - I've been to Vegas 13 times, and this was my first time staying at Caesar's, and probably my LAST. It was a last minute one-night trip, so we figured Caesar's is the best location being central to everything. We drove in from LA, so we did not arrive til 10pm at night to check-in. Since we got there so late, we asked to speak to a manager to see if he can waive the resort fee because we leave at 9am in the morning and won't be using the internet or fitness center. The front desk guy Duncan was rude and would not let us talk to a manager and said there's nothing he could do. After asking a few more times, we gave up and went up to our rooms to get dressed for the night while I called on the room phone to speak to a manager. I was then put on hold for a long time. I hung up and dialed again, and put on hold a 2nd time. By the 3rd call attempt, it has been over an hour since we arrived and I was quite upset with the customer service and lack of urgency to let me speak to manager.
Caesar's is a well-known classic hotel, massively beautiful, so I expected much better service from them. I would not stay here again. Oh, and the view we got in the Roman Tower was of a blank wall between buildings with emergency stairs. Which was great for my friend's first time in Vegas. Ha.
