I guess you have to be an avid sushi fan to appreciate this place. The sashimi didn't come off to me like it was significantly more fresh than any other restaurant of the same price point. The tempura was very doughy. The only thing i thoroughly enjoyed was the eggplant, it was delish, and soooo savory.
Half way through the meal the restaurant became super smokey and oily. They really need a better ventilation system. i had to toss my clothes in the wash afterwards, or maybe their kitchen was having a crisis that day.
All in all it was an ok experience. They don't have a lot of seating, and most of the tables are 2 seaters, but it is very spacey (you are not forced to have a convo with your neighbours). The service was also mediocre.
