  • We got a home under contract with Opendoor.com located in Arlington Texas. In our inspection report, there were a lot of major issue such as Garage door unfunctional, Dishwasher leaking, Kitchen windows displaced, Kitchen faucet not fixed properly, A/C duct damaged. We asked for compensation and they offered us just ~$1000 for all the major repairs. Moreover, their response was slow or not at all, that we were over our option period, and now it's making it hard for us to back out, otherwise we will lose our earnest money, which is around ~$1500. I hate myself that I planned to buy a home with them with my hard earned money.Be careful when you deal with opendoor. They'll rip you off.
