I love so many things about Mylk Uncookies, possibly one of my favourite names on the Coffee Passport, they have a very Clockwork Orange milk bar esque interior (well I only say that because it's predominately white and called Mylk). A crowning achievement for me was successfully guessing what their wireless password was (you know you go to a lot of coffee shops when...).
I went with their americano and it was pretty good on it's own (can't really screw up americano right?) I do wish that I was able to try some of their snacks, they had a couple of vegan macaroons that I was interested in but the fact that they take only cash was a serious downer for me.
I really enjoyed their funky lanterns and wall hangings but what fascinated me was their espresso machine which lights up!! I could spot it from across the street and if Apple designed an espresso machine I would assume it would like something like this?
I can't wait to visit here again, but their location is just no where near any thing I do and during my walk there on Gerrard I encountered more homeless people than anyone else. Not the most charming of neighbourhoods but Mylk Uncookies is definitely a much welcome addition to my second Indie Coffee Passport list.
