  • Terrible customer service. I had an appointment with Ali to take out the fusion hair extensions he had installed for me. He began the work, applying solution and violently yanking a comb through my hair to try and rip out the extensions. He left 10 minutes into starting the work to do another woman's hair colour. I waited as I've been his customer for 8 years, and he always floats off to different patients while supposed to be dealing with you. Since he usually yields good results, his consistent unprofessionalism has often been given a free pass. After about 10-15 minutes, one of the assistants came over and began working on my hair, saying that Ali wouldn't be coming back. I walked back over to him and asked him why he wouldn't be taking care of me when I specifically booked an appointment with him in advance. He became very frustrated, saying "I don't do this, I am the boss, I never take out extensions". I asked him why he would accept the appointment in the first place when he knew this, instead of booking with one of the other licensed people in his salon. He then unwillingly returned to me and said "you're really going to have fun with me now". I've never been to a hair salon where they threaten you and expect you to be happy. As he again began violently ripping out my glued-in extensions, anther worker came up to him and asked how long it would be and he said 30 minutes. When I made the appointment, they said it would take at least an hour. At this point I told him he better not be ripping out my real hair. He became livid once more and asked me to leave, although I had already paid for removal when I ordered and had the extensions put in (with himself). I refused to leave, as my paid service hadn't been performed. I later went to a different salon, where they promptly began the process telling me it would take 3-4 HOURS. They used the same solution but no comb - carefully working on each of the glued in pieces. I felt no pain or yanking and none of my real hair came out with the extensions - as it had when Ali was pulling them out. I could literally see my hair and the roots still attached to the glue and he really tried telling me that that was not my hair. Ali kept telling me to leave or he would call the police - which I invited him to do since I was within my rights. I waited there until the officer's arrival where they promptly told us that this was not a police issue and if I wished I could take the case to small claims court. The officer also made the salon return $200 to me that I had previously paid for the removal of my extensions. This place is run by a temperamental child, absolutely would not recommend. Take your business somewhere where they understand how to run one.
