  • Brawley's is one of the few hidden gems in Charlotte. Sure you can buy decent beer at the grocery store or at the big box wine stores but here you get personal interaction, friendliness, and probably the best beer selection in all of Charlotte. If you're looking for a specific beer or a hard to find craft release Brawley's has it (or will help you get it.) The store space is feels small... because it's packed with beer! I'll never forget the first time I happened upon Brawley's Beverage about three years ago. My jaw hit the floor and my mouth watered when I saw brands of beer not to be had anywhere else, although now The Common Market has a good selection, but I digress. Behind the counter sat the owner himself, Michael Brawley. He seemed to personally know every customer that came in. It's that kind of store. We talked about beer, dogs, sailing, and Maine. Because of his friendliness and knowledge, I'm happy to drive twenty minutes to give him my cash! If you love beer, you'll love Brawley's Beverage.
