  • This place is definitely worth checking out. Brand new, very clean, well located, and very friendly. It just recently opened, so they are still working out the kinks, but it's a hostel with heart. You no longer need to sacrifice personal hygiene to save a few bucks: the hostel is beautiful and comfortable. Plus, it's got a fantastic roof-top patio, great view of downtown TO, and you can check out the roof-top solar panels. I often make the trip up to Toronto from Ottawa, and I'll be booking with the Planet Traveler at my next stop.
