"This place is nothing like the real New York, New York!" snorted my good New Yorker friend in disgust. Well, for someone who has never been and has nothing to compare it to, this is as good as it gets.
Spacious, clean rooms, well stocked bathroom and updated decor grace this hotel so I am never disappointed in my stay here. Was able to get a Park Avenue room with a great view of the strip this time so I was a happy camper. Location is prime as you are within close proximity to neighboring hotel/casinos. And thank God for walls that aren't thin!! You can actually get a good night's sleep unlike at other locations...ahem, Silverton.
If you're craving a slice of pizza, they have a spot open til the wee hours of the night or you can hang out a the Bar at Times Square and watch the dueling pianos belt out crowd pleasing tunes. I'll usually do both. Grab a slice of pie and watch the show unfold from seating outside. Kill two birds with one stone! They also have a Coyote Ugly bar if you wanna kick up your heels and potentially leave your bra hanging from the ceiling for good measure after you've had one too many.
Customer service left a little bit to be desired. It used to be much better years back but hey, can't win 'em all. The only other caveat? The additional resort fee that most hotels on the strip add on per night. Lame.
