***Edited due to hotel complaint escalation.
Left the hotel after waking up with a rash all over my body and an itchy burning sensation. After seeing welts and small open wounds on my head this rash appears to be from an insect bite. There was dust all over the entire room and heavily concentrated around the bed and side tables. When I removed the linen and shook the material it looked like a Wonderful White Christmas in the room. After I woke up in the morning I made a call to the front desk and explained my dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of the room. Then I was transferred to housekeeping whom came upstairs to inspect the room. They offered me another room but I declined because I felt I needed to wash my clothing and my infants clothing. Room service called me back and agreed to refund my night under the conditions that I first meet with security to file an incident report. Security came upstairs and documented the incident and requested that I be photographed on my arm. I was reluctant to entertain the idea and was told I would not be able to check out until security documented everything. After filling out the incident report security left but then shortly after I was harassed by the front desk on the phone while I was in the shower. I was told again to allow security back into my room to photograph the other parts of my body that also had the rash and skin welts. I did not feel comfortable with having myself photographed in a towel but again I was told I had to be photographed so the hotel sent a woman upstairs with security. I was left vulnerable with my infant and I wanted to check out of the room as quickly as possible. This behavior of the hotel is outright wrong and the people did not respect me as a person. I should have been able to leave the hotel without any problems but was unfortunately treated like an animal. The hotel even went as far as charging me extra for a late checkout even though the people at the hotel were the ones holding me up from leaving earlier in the day. I complained about the charges and because of my strong assertive tone I was accused of being a radical making a scene within the hotel. At no point did I scream or curse directly at any employee but instead asserted my complaints in a direct fashion. Is there something wrong with a woman speaking up? Without further ado please point my scene out on a camera and make sure to also point out security going in and out of my room. On a side note I will say this hotel had the best color palette for decor I have ever seen in my life but I don't think that alone will be enough to distract me to stay another night at this inhospitable hotel. I'm going to miss that high traffic commercial flooring in the lobby.
