| - The doctor seems fine, I have no issues there.
I came for my 2nd appointment recently and unfortunately I did not have a sitter so I had to bring my little ones along. I was waiting and I was called up to get my insurance card at this point it was already 15 minutes past my appointment time so I asked how much longer I should expect to wait and I was told at least 40 minutes!!! Anyways my son was in his stroller he just so happened to drop his snack as I was getting ready to walk to my seat and of course he lost it, I picked it up and strolled to my seat as fast as I could and my plan was to give him his snack back and get him out to comfort him. Literally 40 or so seconds passed from the start of the crying to me just about to sit down when the Office Manager comes down the hall, hollers at me over my sons crying from about 10-12 feet away that I needed to leave the waiting room because the crying was messing up some sort of test......I was livid, My response of course was how about you take me back for my appointment!!!! The office manager just looked at me and said we are working hard to get you back for your appointment and went back down the hall, I headed to the front desk to see where I should go they just looked at me maybe in shock I am not sure and the office manager was watching to make sure I exited. I was beyond pissed, I was not offered somewhere else we could wait I mean come on two kids in the hallway with no where to sit and a 40 or more minute wait to go. After about 10 minutes I went in talked to the front desk explained how embarrassed and mortified I was treated this way in front of a lobby full of patients and asked since I can't wait here where do I go, of course she got the office manager and showed me to another waiting room.
Apparently this office is ANTI_CHILDREN, never have I had this happen, it is not like I want to bring my kids to my doctor appointment but sometimes we do not have a choice! I filed and formal complaint and if I do not get a response I will seek other options. The office manager needs to be reprimanded, this situation could have been handled in a much better, professional and courteous manner.
