  • I spent half of the day at CMC Mercy due to an anaphylatic episode. I was extremely impressed with the staff there. When I walked into the ED, the woman who check me in, Loretta, was extremely kind and continued to talk to me until I was seen just to make sure that my breathing would not get any worse. Once inside of my room, the ED nurses, Ishmel & Beth, came in and immediately began to go to work. They were tremendously polite and professional as this was my first time at CMC Mercy and my first allergic reaction. They acted great as a union and showcased above average teamwork. I was then introduced to Ashley, my nurse, and Dr. Dutton. They were both professional and polite and definitely eased my apprehensions and anxiety. I encountered a lot of different professionals there and they were all courteous and respectful. If I am ever in the need of emergency assistance, CMC Mercy will definitely be my stop!
