I would not recommend Mamaluv to anyone.
I purchased a certificate for a new mother, hoping to give a gift that would save her time and energy. Unfortunately, I spent an exorbitant amount of money on a terrible service. On the evening when my friend was supposed to receive her delivery between 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm, she stayed up until after 11:00 pm and then went to bed when the delivery didn't show. In the morning, she found a sealed bag with food that had been left there sometime during the night before. Not only was the food inedible because of the amount of time it had been left outside in the heat, but one of the containers inside the bag had obviously been tampered with prior to being placed on her doorstep.
My friend called Mamaluv to complain and received a voicemail saying that they would deliver only one dessert (even though none of the food was edible).
When I found out about this situation, I called the company to see if I could reason with them since I'm not taking care of an infant and since I was the gift giver. I was told that the food was still fine (that's not what the government of Canada says) and that no measures would be taken to apologize for the cost and inconvenience.
