| - After trying to get pregnant on our own for a few months, my husband and I decided to turn it over to the experts. We met with Dr. Behera in March for the first time. I was so anxious that there was something wrong with me that even the experts wouldn't be able to figure out and/or fix. Dr. Behera was a breath of fresh air, and gave me the confidence I needed at a discouraging point in my life. After meeting with her, I was so overwhelmed with joy. I knew that I was in the best hands. Fast forward a few weeks, and as it turns out, I was already pregnant during that first meeting! I just hadn't found out yet. When I called my OB to schedule my first appointment, the staff was so rude. It was like they let all the wind out of my sails, and worse, they seemed to enjoy it. They said they wouldn't even see me until I was 7-9 weeks (I was about 4 1/2 weeks at the time). My husband called Dr. Behera's office to see if they would be willing to see me to confirm my pregnancy, as I (like lots of first time moms) was very anxious. Not only did they see me, and congratulate me (something the other OB's office never did), they agreed to follow me through my first trimester, even though I didn't undergo any fertility treatment. I have seen Tamara, NP, every week for the last month. Every visit has been better than the last. Tamara has a very calming presence about her, and is incredibly capable. Today was my last appointment, and now I have to go to the mean OB's office, which I am really not looking forward to. The staff at Bloom has reassured me that the doctors are great, which is one of the few reasons I did not change OB's. All in all, my experience at Bloom as been (hands down) the best experience I have ever had with a doctor's office. The staff is friendly, professional, and diligent. They call back with your results when they say they are going to. They explain things. Above all, they are compassionate, which you can't put a price on (and there are plenty of great doctors who don't possess that quality). Thank you to everyone who has taken care of me in the last couple months. You are all angels, and my husband and I are forever grateful.
