S&L was closed for a private event so I finally checked out Castle with a group of friends. Honestly? Meh. Our crew was budget-watching so we felt a little stressed about limiting our time because of cost. We stayed for two hours and only played one game. It took us awhile to get set up as the staff didn't have any knowledge of the game. Not the end of the world but I definitely prefer the flat fee because of situations like that. We were charged for playing time when we were eating because we had game boxes on the table, as well.
As for food - the cheesecake was a tiny slice/still frozen and the goat cheese panini was sort-of passable. My friend loved her Nutella latte and another raved about his waffle. So hit or miss, I think.
I feel like this cafe is kind of a back-up S&L or a place for people who want to stay only an hour or so. Not really my thing.
