  • After weeks of grinding and working away at life this event at Lather was a welcomed retreat from reality. I started off with a much-needed back massage from Vanessa. She got all the kinks out and had the perfect amount of pressure in the shoulder and back area. After that I helped myself to the several delicious snacks that were provided by Pita Jungle which included a trio of hummus, pita bread, a variety of vegetables for dipping and snacking on , a big bowl of delicious fruits and various cheeses. There were also some delicious cupcakes. I tried the chocolate on chocolate and it was absolutely mouthwatering with just the right amount of icing on top and the cupcake part was moist and chocolatey. After pursuing throughout the store and trying some of the products, I went to the hand washing station where Roberta gave my hands a good scrub with the lemongrass scrub. Afterwards a hand moisturizer was applied to my hands. It was like night and day, all the dead skin cells were washed away and underneath was fresh soft skin moistened with the lemongrass whipped body lotion. I also tried the Jasmine and Plumeria body whip and body Oil and oh my goodness, were they ever amazing! They went on the skin so smoothly. A little goes a long way, these tubs of body whip are 7 ounces but they will last a long time. Since I couldn't decide which body whip I wanted, I decided to buy the 2 ounce size of the variety pack of all the body lotions. I also decided to try the weekly care moisturizing hair mask which I was told was an amazing product, I can't wait to try it! What a wonderful evening spent at Lather nibbling on delicious snacks and trying out amazing eco-friendly products. One more thing to note is that all their packaging is eco-friendly and biodegradable which is definitely an added bonus, thank you for caring for the environment!
