  • I usually love Amado's. Great late night place. I've been going there for almost 10 years. The customer service has never been stellar, you always feel like you're annoying them when ordering, but... I can live with that. However, I went today and it was the worst experience with Mexican food I have ever encountered in Arizona. Literally signed up for Yelp just to leave this review, it was that bad. It was 5pm on a Tuesday (in case the restaurant wants to track who was working). I ordered a taco plate, #2. The tacos were cold. The shells were barely even cooked. The beef was dripping in grease, and seemed old. We also got a chips and salsa. The chips were stale, and on top of them was a scoop of chopped tomatoes and onions with 5 little sides of hot sauce in the bag (not even close to being "salsa"). The diet coke tasted foul, I actually threw it away after one gag-inducing sip. Now, it's been a few hours, and my stomach is in painful knots. HORRIBLE. Until they change back to what they used to be, I can't go back there.
