| - The first package I dropped off at this store (around noon, well before the UPS driver picks up all the packages) I didn't see an update on UPS's site that the shipment was on it's way to it's destination. I called the next day and found out that they forgot to scan it the previous day, so it was never picked up.
The second package I dropped off at this store (which was on Friday, 06/01/2018, also around noon), I ensured it was scanned before I left and got a receipt. The next day, again no shipment progress was showing on UPS's site, just that it had been dropped off at a UPS store. It was the weekend so I figured I'd give it until Monday. Still no progress, so I called the store on Monday morning and was told, "all the packages were picked up from Friday, so you'll need to open a case with UPS corporate to find out where it is." I asked the person I spoke with if he'd just look around the store (based on what happened to the first package I dropped off above), and he refused to look around. So I opened a case with UPS and got notice yesterday that they now consider it lost, and I now have to file a claim to recuperate the cost of the item.
Two packages with similar issues (lost at store)? You're better off finding a drop box than going here.
