Money hungry? YES. I stopped by for a brow wax and pedicure, nothing off the wall at a nail spa...right? I sat in a makeshift waxing chair located at the front of the spa, in plain view of all the passerby's. No biggie. My brows were poorly waxed and then I was told I should've had my lip waxed because "its very hairy." I couldn't help but laugh! I wasnt offered a mirror to check my brows. There wasnt any plucking or scissors. I declined the ever so thoughtful lip wax and proceeded to my pedicure chair. As I was selecting the pedicure package I wanted, the wax lady bombarded me with this silly comment card AND she asked for her tip. I was tempted to give her a life tip instead of money. I kindly told her I would include it on my tab for the combined services. I elected the $32 pedicure package, which INCLUDED a shoulder massage and calluses removed. I didn't know it was a person massaging my shoulders, assumed it was their way of hyping up their luxurious chairs. I was burned with hot water and my foot was bright red. I got over that, lol. The guy started painting my nails without clipping them or taking care of my cuticles. I stopped him and asked he was going to take care of my nails. He seemed shocked and confused by my question. Fast forward to the end..I was instructed to sit at the drying station for a few minutes to help cure my polish. The drying station was a joke... the stool was about to break, lol. It was a kiddie chair that my 5 year old would even be too big for. I paid $42 total for my pedicure and wax (not including tips). I provided cash tips at the end. I returned to the drying station...and was approached THREE times...not to ask how the service was, but to ask if I tipped all three people that worked on me. I was appalled at this behavior. The man at the front desk was like a bookie! I tipped everyone rather generously before he sicked his dogs on me to ask about money. He was beyond rude! I will not be returning and I will not recommend this place to anyone I know. They could be amazing at what they do, but the nonstop money badgering was too much for me. Very poor service!
