| - I go here a lot because it's close to home and much better than the South Las Vegas Outlet mall (not for the shopping per se but for the lack of kiosk people accosting you to sell their wares).
Town Square is definitely family friend. The central area boasts an open green turf and restaurants as well as smaller venues for a grab-and-go snack. There's pond and a bridge, and in December, of course, there's a complete Santa house as well. Oh, and year-round, there's a train ($3). Tiny, but for a toddler, just perfect.
The playground (with hedge maze) and splash pad area are enclosed together, which is really nice, especially for safety. The road for cars wind around the stores with metered parking. (The four parking garages are situated North, South, East, and West. Plus plenty of room in the large lots.)
It's really a huge place to shop and window shop. I love eating at Brio (or Whole Foods on Wednesdays), dinking around at GameWorks with my son, shopping at H&M, The Container Store, Victoria's Secret, etc. etc. etc. So many places. The only additions I'd like to have are Forever 21 and a Starbucks (yea, they've Coffee Bean instead).
Sorry I don't have much for nightlife, since I hardly ever go there at that time of night. My friends have said they like it though. Upper level clubbing spots are pretty nice apparently.
