| - I have been going to Salon Boulevard for years and have had my nails done by Mikel long before she went to Salon Boulevard.
I take exception with someone who has been to the salon one time and then feels the need to bad mouth the Salon. Everyone working there is fantastic and from what I've seen, when new customers come to the Salon, they are made to be welcomed like family.
I know the nail tech who fixed the smudged nails by staying late and didn't charge Carla G. anything. I was also told the nail polish top coat that was used on Carla G.'s nails was her own top coat;
It's one thing to complain about truly bad service, but if the customer is part of the problem and is then going to put it out on the Internet for all to read, at least have the decency to claim your part in the bad experience.
Kudos should be given where they are deserved just as bad service does need to be reported and potentially unsanitary and unsafe practices. Another fact Carla G. left out of her tirade is that after she left the Salon with wet nails, she went to Massage Envy. Is it possible her smudged nails were as a result of that part of her day and the allegedly horrible job done on her nails at the salon? I know when I used to get my nails painted rather than the colored acrylic I have now, I would smudge at least 1 nail just getting in my truck to leave the Salon. I knew exactly where the blame lied - with me, and not Mikel.
Just a little food for thought, if Carla G. didn't put any blame on herself for her allegedly horrible service, and the alleged atrocities that took place in the pedi chair, is all of her self serving nail tech bashing 100% true?
My recommendation would be for you to try the Salon yourself. Don't listen to me, a longtime, extremely satisfied customer, or a 1 time unsatisfied customer.
When I was unemployed and getting ready to graduate with my newly minted Masters degree, one of the stylists did my hair for free so I could look nice for interviews,
This is fabulous group of people, whom I've come to think of as my second family. I spend every other Saturday with these people and they are golden.
