After going to DOCG in Las Vegas, we really wanted to try Scarpetta here in Toronto.
It is a part of the richyrich Thomson Hotel, and was lucky to find parking on the street instead of the pricey lots nearby and valet.
Reserved through Open Table.
The service was pretty quick and attentive. It wasnt too busy, it was Saturday of the Labour Day weekend, but steady.
I had the scallops (which were really good!), while my girlfriend had the creamy polenta (which she thought was outstanding).
We both had pastas for dinner, i had the braised short rib and bone marrow agnolotti (which i could eat all night! the cheesey brown butter sauce was great!) and my girlfriend had the cavatelli (which was awesome too! i stole a few bites!)
definitely glad we made it to Scarpetta in Toronto.
is on the list for Vegas!
