Phoenix needs more local markets, and the Phoenix Public Market is a good start. There are several local produce vendors and even some meat and egg suppliers. However, the real stars of the market are the craft vendors selling locally made products. There are several bakeries selling fresh treats and craftsmen with many different useful and artistic wares.
Parking is not free, which is a big disappointment. They are on the light rail which may be a cheaper option, but would make it tough to haul back the goods. The selection is rather small, but hopefully more markets will come to the Valley.
