I've been to the clinic twice, both times for serious issues with my dogs. The vets are mostly specialists, extremely competent and did a great job both times. One visit required emergency surgery for gastric distention & torsion (bloat), and the other dog went recently with serious symptoms and after much testing realized she has Cushing's. They are fairly conservative about care, they didn't want our dog to go home 'til they were sure she was stable.
It's not cheap, in fact it's an expensive clinic, much like what we'd pay if we had to pay to go to the emergency room. But the staff and vets are excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to go there again if I needed to. Both of our dogs are alive today because the treatment and care they received at the emergency vet clinic.
