I cracked my bedroom window and couldn't get it out due to the wood shutters. Rick came out and solved the problem by replacing the glass while the window was still in the frame! Amazing! What a life saver! My only other option was to pull the wood shutter at great expense, that is if I could find someone to do it.
Thanks Rick...

After closer examination I noticed that my window frame had been severely damaged during the window repair.
I contacted Davis Glass and they sent someone out to take photos. They agreed to replace the entire window, frame and all. A very honorable thing to do.
It took about a month to custom order my replacement window. No problem.
Unfortunately the installer they sent out installed the new window opening opposite my original window. Instead of opening right to left, the new one opens left to right.
What I didn't notice at the time of the install is my prewired alarm sensor won't work with the window opening backwards. Installing a window opening in the same direction as the one you took out seems pretty basic. Especially when the alarm wire and sensor are laying right in front of the installer.
So now I don't know what to do about getting my alarm sensor hooked back up which I need to get done before I can get my wood shutters reinstalled. What a pain.
Overall this repair/install with Davis Glass has turned out to be a nightmare!
I can't recommend this company, but if you do go with them, don't trust them, watch everything they do like a hawk!
