  • Here is my experience with Bachi Burger. I went in after work to order a burger and salad. I was directed towards the bar area and I looked over the menu. I ordered the Myagi-san Grass Fed Wagyu Burger that comes with Chili Mayo, Fried Egg, Furikake, caramelized Bacon, crispy onion rings for $15.00 (it used to be $13.50 in 2014). The waitress asked how would I like it cooked and I told her medium. I asked the waitress if they could substitute the caramelized bacon for sweet onion marmalade and she said she can leave the caramelized bacon off but she would have to charge me for the sweet onion marmalade as an add on $1.50. I reluctantly agreed and added a market salad which came with spring mix, heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and a champagne vinaigrette $5.00. So the burger and salad plus tax came to $23.24 before tip to which I tipped $3.00 since It was take out to a total of $26.00. When I paid the waitress she told me to give the $30.00 to the bartender to get change and he gives me back $6.76 ( a five dollar bill and a one dollar bill with the .76 in change. Now I don't know if he thought that someone should get $1.76 or a $5.00 tip for take-out. I'm not cheap by no means but I tip what is appropriate since I myself work in a tip job. I had to ask him for change for the $5.00. That didn't bother me too much but I felt I should add it to this review because that was the (tipping point). When I got home I opened the burger and it looked good and messy but when i looked inside they left off the Furikake which really gives it a distinct flavor, luckily i have some at home so no big deal, but when I took a bite the burger was rare in the middle an hard over-cooked on the outside, not medium like I asked for. Plus if that was grass fed I really couldn't tell it didn't taste better than any In-and Out Burger that I ever had. The company where they get their meat from must be inferior to others. Then I go to the box that was containing the salad and I opened it up and no salad dressing. I called them up to tell them about the mistakes. I was told I could come back and get the dressing with apologies. I also told them about the burger and they just gave me this puppy dog look like I'm so sorry. I told them that's okay and walked out of there vowing never to return. Well if I want a burger similar to the one I ordered than I can go to Fukuburger and get it for $7.99 + fries $3.99 + drink $2.55 + $3.00 tip for $19.00. There are plenty of burger joints wanting the extra business that don't gouge their customers and will sub out ingredients at no charge. So dine there if you like to spend money. You won't see me there. The STAFF were nice I do have to say. I would give them 5 stars.
