rev:text	Dr. Grabow is awesome. I have needed his services on 2 occasions (broken wrist both times). He has a nifty x-ray machine in office and can tell immediately what the issue is. He cast the first break right then and there and I never had any residual issues. The 2nd break was much more complicated and required surgery (a plate and 7 screws) and extensive therapy. He explained to me in the recovery room that once he opened up the wrist & began the repair, he realized it was not going to produce the results he wanted, so he changed his procedure and took a different approach. I appreciated this information - had he chosen to just stay with his original plan - my wrist would probably not be as good as it is today. I can barely see what was once a 3 1/2" incision and there is nothing I can't do today - I lost a bit of grip strength in that hand and it is a bit stiff after a game of golf; but I'm 65 and have some joint stiffness in the right hand too, so they are about equal despite the left wrist being the "bad" one. Dr. Grabow is personable and pleasant and caring - I would recommend him highly. Now the other side of the coin: RATING FOR THE STAFF - 3 STARS - there are some staffers who aren't as invested in their jobs as others. I have had several incidents with paperwork or lack thereof; a lack of follow-up on insurance issues; and they schedule too many patients too close together - because he IS involved in his patients & gives everyone attention, this can lead to long wait times. I learned early on to call ahead of your appointment and ask if he is on schedule. Ask how many minutes he is behind! Ask them for an adjusted arrival time! Take control of your paperwork - don't assume it is being done - call and check on it in a reasonable amount of time.
