I actually do not shop at Harris Teeter often. But when they advertise triple coupons, I have to check them out. Apparently everyone agrees, because the place is packed, and they have all been watching Extreme Couponing, because anything even close to a price near $0 when you slap a triple coupon on it is gone.
Not low, but gone. The whole section of shelving is just empty. Sometimes stores will spread a single row of product so it looks like there is some there - but in this case it is just cleared out. It looks spooky, because this place is pristine, even a few years after they opened. To be fair, most Harris Teeters generally look pretty good, but this one is really kept in good shape.
Staff here is in good spirits as well - no mean feat since they have been assaulted by all those couponers all week. It might have something to do with me asking about an application for our sixteen year old. Anyone offering to help - or suggesting that help is on the way - is seen as a good thing.
