Great environment, terrible experience last night . First time customers and I wanted to celebrate my daughter's 9th birthday with a small bowling party with my immediate family .
We arrived to the venue around 8pm , received a ticket (#17) to save our lane and were asked to come back in about an hour to Bowl. We left for about 45 minutes to grab a bite and returned to the clerk telling us our wait would now be a few more hours because they were only on group #2 (we are 17) . My daughter began to cry since her entire birthday party was ruined . I've never seen my daughter so saddened . She cried as she handed back our #17 ticket and left .
I do understand how busy the weekends are but I am not happy with being told one thing and reality is another . I planned to spend any amount of money necessary to make the party unforgettable for my daughter . I even offered to rent out the VIP suite so my daughter could bowl in style . The VIP area is under renovation. Go figure. Unfortunately , we left and will never return . It is common courtesy to provide realistic wait times and be thoughtful of others . Had we been properly advised , we would have had no problem waiting ,
We might have even caught a movie while we waited
. I just refuse to have a 1hr return time when in reality the wait is 3hrs plus . My daughter only turned 9 once . Thanks Red Rock Lanes .
