  • I stopped by on my lunch break today to visit with a kitten that I am interested in from Humane Animal Rescue. Turns out you can't play with or adopt a kitten unless a representative is there. I went to talk to the employee at the check out station they have to see about adopting her, only to be ignored while she was on her phone. I then went out of my way to get her attention and she basically just brushed me off and said to call the number on the sheet hanging from the cage. When I looked closer at the sheet, I also found that Petvalu was charging $60 more than I was originally told from Humane Animal Rescue. Skip this place if you are wanting to ask any questions, and go straight to the humane society if you plan on adopting. Giving 2 stars only because the store itself is decent and they seem to have a nice selection for a small pet store.
