I just had one of the worst customer service experiences of my foodie dining career. The server, Janet.... Or maybe Janice, a seemingly nice middle aged gal was sub par and did nothing to fix an easily fixable situation. In fact the head manager a tall thin man also seemed to not care about how customers were treated at all. The server was MIA most of the time, failed to fill my water twice and I had to remind her... Twice. And when she did fill the water glass it was only to 75% full. When I mentioned that she wasn't fully filling the glass, she filled my water glass to the exact same amount a walked away. Once I finished my meal I walked over to the to-go stand to look at dessert, since my server failed to ask if I wanted any. I ordered the pudding which was tossed into a blue "McDonald's style" water cup. I asked to have this item removed from the bill as this presentation was not logical to bring on a flight and not worth 7$. The manager came over aloof and disinterested in satisfying me as the customer. And just as I walked away from the to-go stand I see the server I had and then hear her chime loudly... "Oh is that my shitty friend?!". I was appalled. How does a manager hear this and do NOTHING. The food was wonderful as always and but the service (as a past server myself) was horrible. I did leave a $3 tip which was only $1 below 20% and now I'm wishing I left her nothing. The comment was more than inappropriate and I feel as though this is the only way to voice my concerns, as the manager behaved as though he could care less. I hope that things change in a positive way, because the food is so amazing and deserves great service to accompany it.
