  • I came across this vibrant collection during my spontaneous gallery hop the last time I went to the Miracle Mile Shops at the Planet Hollywood. Comparable to the Natural Wonders Gallery at the Palazzo or the Peter Lik Galleries at the Venetian and Forum Shops at Caesars Palace respectively, William Carr is a photographer, and a great one at that. His collection extends from scenic views in Europe to rock structures and a handful of Las Vegas, etc. One of my favorites is called 'Traces Of Autumn' from National Zion Park and 'Historic Portofino, Italy'. They both are characterized by stunning exuberance and color, much so that I'm already tempted to go back some time after studying this week to relax and take in the beauty. It's a great form of relaxation because these pictures take you away from the fast-paced city life and acts as a temporary escape. In addition to that, these photographs are printed on a special type of paper composed of little crystals so details pop out depending on the angle of lights directed to the pictures and the intensity of the back-up illumination. It's pretty amazing and very much worth your time.
