  • Been here almost a year now and so far been very impressed. I could go elsewhere and save around $200 a month for a comparable plan. However, you get what you pay for here. You have access to 24/7 amenities, community events, staff and maintenance that go above and beyond to get any issues addressed very promptly. Plus full size appliances (beware a couple other comparable communities nearby give you a stackable washer/dryer), fans in ALL the bedrooms and living room and your own assigned parking space. Plus the granite countertops in the kitchen, stainless steel appliances, wood plank flooring (wish it was darker) and more standard in all the units. The community is gated 24/7 and there is a courtesy patrol during the weekend nights. If you are smoker then this place is not for you. There is a community wide Non Smoking policy which I really like. Lived elsewhere and the people below me would smoke all the time on their patio which would then travel up to my balcony and into my unit. This also keeps the property a lot cleaner too. There is a $99/month 'amenities fee' in addition to the rent, but this gives you at your door trash pick-up 5-nights a week (centralize compactor and recycling bins in lieu of dumpster scattered throughout the property. This helps keeps the noise down and the property cleaner) as well as CenturyLink Prism HD TV (much better than Cox) and 40 mbps Internet. Detached garages are a little pricey at $100 per month (not as bad as the $125 a month I saw elsewhere), but they are very deep and give you a raised shelf for storage (and some like mine have a window). My only gripe is the floorplan (B1) could've been laid out better. No pantry, but add shelves in the coat closet (who has coats in Phoenix) next to the kitchen and viola instant pantry and more storage space is available in the laundry room. I don't get why there is not medicine cabinets in the bathroom, but there is plenty of drawer space. The secondary bathroom is way too BIG (16'x13') but does have a roman tub, which is nearly unheard of in a 2-bedroom unit. They should have designed this better to give more closet space. Love the openness of the complex and the surrounding Morrison Ranch area is quite nice too. There is no direct access to Loop 202 or US 60 from Recker, that helps keep the traffic down on Recker and in the late evening there is very little cars and noise. Very close to shops and restaurants over at Gilbert Gateway and San Tan Village is about 10-minute away. Bugs have been an issue, but I've had much worse when I lived on a ground floor apartment in north Scottsdale out by Westworld. A couple wolf spiders and some very tiny beetles seem to come up through the shower drain (rarely use the shower and I use the roman tub most of the time). No scorpions or ants.
