  • This review is a tough one to write. I like the Mellow Mushroom overall but there are just some flawed pieces that I can't avoid. The food is good, not great. I have had a variety of food here from sandwiches to the veggie pizza. I like everything I have eaten fairly well. It comes in a reasonable time. Then there is the bad. The food is good but for what you pay it should be more than good. This isn't filet mignon we are talking about. This is salads, sandwiches, and specialty pizza. Most of this stuff I can make at home and when I go to a restaurant if I am going to eat something that I can make at home, it better be pretty darn skippy. If I wanted to get a really good sandwich at a good price I would go across the street and get something from Jersey Mike's. For this price it needs to be great. So I just can't justify going here anymore.
