First time buyer from Colleen's. I hate to give them two stars because the in store experience was great and I like my purchase. Unfortunately, their lack of communication is why I'm giving two stars.
Upon purchasing my item (Couch) I was informed I would get an automated call the day before my delivery date to give me my two hour window in which my item would be delivered. Great, received that. It would be delivered between 10:30am and 12:30pm. It is now 1:30pm, and I have not received the couch. I called and left a message at 1pm. At 1:24pm I called again and someone picked up. So they must not be checking their voicemails. After being put on hold, the woman informed me that the truck had not been loaded and they were loading it currently and she could not give me an estimate on when the delivery would be made. There was no apology for the delay.
Unfortunately I don't have all the hours of the day to sit around and wait. I rearranged my work schedule so I could be home for these 2 hours and now I assume on top of the additional hour I've waited, I'm going to be waiting further.
If there was an issue, I should have been informed.
I recently moved to the area and have an entire space to furnish, I was hoping Colleen's would be my go to store.
I really wanted to like this place but if customer service isn't a priority, as it doesn't seem to be, I would rather find future purchases elsewhere.
