Heinen's is one of the two grocery stores in Strongsville, and the location of Giant Eagle is just dumb.
I go here mostly by default or just to pick up something in particular, such as soup or the prepared foods. There's a creamy tomato bisque soup that is amazing and I think I'd try all of the prepared foods at some point or another. They have a couple of curry dishes and a ton of sides and prepared meat such as blue cheese burgers or breaded chicken. It's perfect for a home cooked meal that you didn't cook yourself. (Oh, and there's usually a couple of samples of dips and such. Yum.)
Most of those fun ingredients in vegetarian recipes or things you'd read about in Health magazine you can find here. I don't have another market (i.e. Whole Foods) of that sort near me to compare it to though. And if you go early in the day, the sushi is fresh and pretty reasonably priced. I like it because most of them are a mixture of three different rolls so you can get yourself some variety if you're grabbing lunch solo.
It's a very nice layout with lovely hard wood floors and nice displays on the endcaps in the front of the store. Beautiful wine department, ALWAYS fast checkout and in general a pleasant shopping experience.
Four stars cause you're gonna pay more here than at the Eagle, but not want to shoot yourself leaving the parking lot.
