Pros - Excellent knowledge of alternative treatments for pets, good onsite services
Cons - poor customer service, poor dental service
I was a patient of the clinic for several years. I first went there because my dog has severe allergies and would scratch her face until it bled horribly. My previous vet had run out of treatment options.
We went through several therapies with the clinic including meds, custom made allergy shots and also a specific raw food diet. In the end the diet along with diatomaceous earth was the most effective.
With my other dog we received chiropractic adjustments for a sore back as well as teeth cleaning and a biopsy.
I was extremely unhappy with the treatment I received when I was dropping my dog off for surgery. The intake nurse mentioned that they might do some other procedures as well which no one had discussed with me. I realize that the additional procedures may have been normal for the vet to do, but they had never mentioned them to me and it was upsetting to hear about it last minute from a snotty nurse who actually said to me "i don't mean to be rude by why are you even doing this then?".
Also, I had my dog's teeth cleaned and the cleaning was very poorly done. I thought perhaps they could not do a good job because the teeth were in bad shape but when I went to another vet they did an amazing job.
Recommendation: Visit them as a specialist if you need special help for your pet but then go back to your main vet for ongoing regular care
