  • I brought family out from California to take a mid day lunch cruise. We arrived early, checked in, bought a few snacks and souvenirs. Everything was fine until we got on the boat. We went upstairs to grab a quick lunch, we thought. First our server told us the ordering computer was not functioning. Ok. So he wrote down our order, very legibly, I might add. We were the 2nd table to order. Then we wait and wait and wait. One by one each of us runs out to snap a photo and come back hoping our food had arrived. This is a 90 minute cruise. We missed everything waiting for our food to arrive. After 1 hour and 10 minutes we ate. We kept asking about the whereabouts of our lunch and we were told, "things got mixed up" and "they couldn't read the order" and "the bus tour came in"not any apologies, let's comp your food. Nothing. This was a $50 lunch. When we got off the boat, we asked for a Manager. We asked for a refund on our lunch. Jamie arrived and said the best she could do would be s free photo. We said NO. Refund please. Finally after much complaining. She said she would refund our lunch. She wanted our friend to write down her card number on a plain piece of paper and would talk to her boss. My friend said absolutely not. You can call me back when you need that private information. So we left thinking this would be resolved. We got in the car and we're on our way home, phone rings. Jamie wanted to know if we left. We were not turning around at this point. Jamie tried to get us a refund but didn't know how to operate the credit card machine. So went on to our next appointment. Now we are out of range. She leaves a snarky message that we have 45 minutes to get back to her to resolve this or it will be considered closed. AND THE BEST PART.... SHE SAID IF YOU HAD JUST GIVEN ME YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER, THIS WOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED. What???? First we were 45 minutes from home, didn't get the message until well after that. I have never had poorer customer service, ruder people with belligerent attitudes than we had then. All they had to do was throw us a bone and I wouldn't be writing this review. My advice is this... just go on the boat, skip the food and it's really not worth the hassle. Just go over to the Dam. It's waaay cooler.
